Can visitors vote more than once?
Not usually. There are two options to prevent users from voting more than once.
1) IP Blocking - Users with same IP address can not vote more than once.
2) Cookie Blocking - A Cookie is set on the users computer when they first vote.
You can choose both blocking systems or just one.

What is an IP address?
Every computer on the internet is identified by a unique number called an IP address. Each time you connect to the Internet your machine is assigned an IP address. If you have a static IP address you get the same number each time you connect. If you have a dynamic IP address a number is assigned from a pool of addresses maintained by your Internet Service Provider on a first-come basis. Thus you can get a different IP address each time you connect.

What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file containing a unique string of numbers or letters that is placed on an Internet user's computer. Cookies are commonly used to remember certain settings that an Internet user chooses, so that when a user returns to the web site, the site is tailored to the user's requirements. In addition, web sites often use cookies to provide meaningful usage statistics by counting how many unique visitors entered the web site and the specific pages that they visited.
